It's a...

It's a boy!

We are due February 5th and we are VERY excited to be having another boy! Everything looks good except they did tell us today that he has a moderate dilated renal pelvis--basically both kidneys have some urine going back into them for some reason. Or something like that. Maybe some of you could fill us in better on what that is exactly. But the doctor didn't seem worried and said that we will be watching it for the next few weeks and that in most cases it clears up by itself-- so that is what we are hoping for.

We are pretty much just giddy to be having two boys in a row!

Congratulations you guys. That is exciting! (That's what Craig and I guessed it would be.) I wanted and have loved having 2 boys right in the beginning. I hope you guys do too!!

Hope everything turns out ok for your little guy's kidneys. I've never heard of that before. I would be interested to learn more too. I can't believe they could see that in an ultrasound!! That's pretty amazing!

Hope you are feeling ok Krista!

Boys are so fun!!! I'm glad your joining the fun world of 2 boys in a row! They are the best! I'm loving my new one, he just peed on me for the first time today! All over my clothes and on him.

Eric had something weird with his head, but same thing. They said it should clear up in a few weeks and it did, so you probably don't have anything to worry about. They are just overly cautious with their ultrasounds.

Congrats Dial family! I love the idea of having another boy, so you'll have to let me know what you think one he arrives. I'm sure Caleb will make an excellent big brother and the two boys will be best of friends!

Wow we're so excited that you're having another boy. Our two boys are best freinds! Krista your blog is great, we love to see how your doing. I don't know if this is the same thing, but our 2nd boy Rusty has reflux in one of his kidneys. It's never been anything to worry about. We also first saw it on the 20 week ultrasound. He gets it check once a year and he's 3 now and it has improved a little each year. His doctor still expects it to fix itself in the next year or two. In the meantime he is the roughest toughest kid I know. We wish you the best. We'll be thinking about you!
